SHAPING THE FUTURE: INFRASTRUCTURE INVESTMENTS FOR THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE LODZKIE REGION
Sustainable development is a major challenge for the Lodzkie Region, along with ensuring efficient transport connections with the main economic centres in Poland and Europe, as well as internal links. An important factor in increasing accessibility and attractiveness of the Region is strengthening and development of a coherent transport system by supplementing the motorway and expressway framework with a network of lower-category roads, which provides an important stimulus for the local economic growth.
