COMBINING FORCES: THE SYNERGY OF BUSINESS AND SCIENCE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE LODZKIE REGION

There are numerous universities and research institutes in the Lodzkie Region. In times of the knowledge-based economy, they are becoming a key resource ensuring development. This is the case for both large corporations and small and medium-sized local enterprises. During the panel, the best examples of cooperation between the research sector and private business will be presented. The panel will also address forms of cooperation between business and science that enable economic benefits (for business) and development of research potential (for universities and research institutes). It is targeted at entrepreneurs, representatives of the academia and research institutes, as well as employees of business environment institutions
