HOW TO COME AND NOT RUSH TO HELP?

How to come and not rush to help? On the types and limits of help that managers can offer to employees in situations of emotional crisis.

The drama triangle and transactional analysis as a concepts helping managers understand what behaviour to avoid when an employee reports trouble. Are they of any use to business? They certainly are, because they provide a good insight into the relationship between those giving help and those being helped. There is only one relationship appropriate when helping another human being.

The most common issues reported by employees in the workplace – recognition and diagnosis:
– excessive stress
– professional burnout
– anxiety
– depression
Because of changes in the pace of life and the highly volatile reality in general, as well as the increasing demands on employees, there has been a geometric rise in psychological distress and depression incidence. To be able to recognise the symptoms of these in employees and to act quickly is very important for managers.

Offering help or how to effectively listen to an employee.
Managers are not only representatives of the employer, but also of employees. These roles are often confused or not performed properly. Is empathy a key trait of a manager? How to listen, understand, and help.
