HOW TO EFFECTIVELY DEVELOP A FAIR TRANSITION PROCESS?

A thematic panel dedicated to the implementation of a just transition in the New Energy Area (35 communes) in the Bełchatów Basin, where historical social, economic and spatial transformations will take place in the next two decades. The panel’s participants will tell us what actions they have taken in the past and what plans they have for the future. They will share their experience in attracting investors to their area and investing in ecological activities that serve the inhabitants of the commune. An important point of the panel will be information on funds from the Just Transition Fund and financing of new projects. In addition, the opportunities for the development of education in the field of new technologies in the Bełchatów Basin, arising thanks to the funds allocated for just transition, will be discussed.
