INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS AND SOCIAL SECURITY

The Social Security Institution (ZUS) places the client and their needs at the heart of its operations. It cooperates with approximately 26 million clients and several hundred institutions at home and abroad. In terms of its scope of activities and the social weight of the tasks it implements, it is one of the most important public institutions in Poland.

Polish entrepreneurs do not confine their business to the Polish market – they cross borders and move their services abroad. This is not without impact on social insurance in Poland, and thus on the Social Insurance Fund administered by the Social Insurance Institution. Economic activity is pursued in various forms and is adapted to financial possibilities, present situation on the labour market, conditions and services provided.
