When it comes to the future of the social economy, it is necessary to take a broader perspective that includes the development of social services, which is currently one of the most important challenges of an active social policy. Social economy operators (SEO) already deliver an important part of social services. However, contracting the above-mentioned services in a manner that strengthens stable and systemic cooperation between the local government and SEO, is of crucial importance. It will result in a focus on activating economically inactive people, especially people with disabilities, carers of the dependent, women and the elderly. As a result, new market opportunities will arise for the development of service offers provided by SEO/SE.
