STORING ENERGY FOR A BETTER TOMORROW

Energy storage has a fundamental role to play in the energy transition towards a low-carbon system, primarily using renewable energy sources, and in achieving the EU’s climate and energy targets. The panel will serve to discuss the implications of the package implemented by the EC, “Clean Energy for All Europeans” and to present a summary of the European Battery Alliance. In addition, support possibilities for energy storage projects in light of the financial perspective for 2021–2027 will be presented.
