WIDER OPPORTUNITIES OR A THREAT – ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FACING CONTROVERSY

Generative artificial intelligence is already recognised as the new game changer and catalyst for further innovative changes in business. It has been compared to some of the most ground-breaking inventions in the history of mankind and will undoubtedly contribute to a competitive advantage, not only for individual businesses, but also for entire sectors and industries, and will represent a decisive factor in the value they create. Openness to innovation, risk appetite, an increasingly high level of digital competences and skills, and the associated development of new professions (e.g. prompt engineer) are just a few of the requirements that generative AI poses for Polish business. Are we prepared for that? Does the development of generative AI offer an opportunity for real cooperation between humans and AI, or will it force competition between them?
